How It Works

Step 1. Fill in your personal info. Enter your name, headline, bio, and optional links (email, GitHub, LinkedIn, personal site). Upload a profile photo if you like. All data stays in your browser.
Step 2. Add your skills. Type each skill and press Enter (or click Add Skill). Remove any tag by clicking the x. The generated portfolio shows them as clean tags.
Step 3. Add projects. Each project has a title, description, tech stack, live URL, repo URL, and an optional screenshot. You can add as many projects as you need.
Step 4. Pick a design. Choose an accent color, light or dark default theme, and a font. The preview updates instantly.
Step 5. Preview and download. Click Preview to see your portfolio in an inline frame, then Download HTML to save a fully self-contained file. Upload it to any static host (GitHub Pages, Netlify, Cloudflare Pages, a VPS) and it is ready to share.

Self-Hosting Tips

  • GitHub Pages: push the file as index.html to a repo and enable Pages in settings.
  • Netlify / Vercel: drag and drop the single HTML file in the deploy UI.
  • Cloudflare Pages: connect a repo or upload directly via the dashboard.
  • Your own server: drop the file anywhere Apache or Nginx serves static files.
  • The file is fully self-contained; no CDN, no server-side code needed.

Portfolio Best Practices

  • Lead with 3-5 of your best projects, not everything you have ever built.
  • Write one crisp sentence explaining what each project does and who it helps.
  • List the actual technologies used, not generic terms like "web development".
  • Include a live link whenever possible; a working demo beats a description.
  • Keep your bio under 100 words and focus on what you can do for clients.
